About

The Brilliant Institute and Sports Development Program will be Idaho’s premier academic institution with a Sports Development Center, designed to provide a classical, yet modern education while developing mastery in each student’s chosen sport.

A dream of excellence

We have located the land in Star, Idaho — 14 acres, just enough to build the greatest academic and dedicated, competitive junior tennis academy in Idaho.

The educational program has been developed over the last eight years. It is a K–12 Great Books, non-religious program based upon the greatest writings found in Western and Eastern culture. The subjects include everything from astronomy to zoology and everything in between, and students study the original works of the greatest minds in the world.

The core classes are difficult, but accessible to all, and include grammar, logic and rhetoric, math, science, Chinese, Latin, Ancient Greek, art, history, religion, philosophy and literature. Furthermore, students will master an instrument, either piano or violin, and become proficient in visual art and art history.

Classical campus

So much more than the classroom

Tennis is the school sport and everyone will play competitively (yes, scores will be kept, rankings earned, and there will be winners and losers in each match). Students attend school from 8 to 5 daily, which includes age-appropriate tennis training. The school will coordinate competition attendance within the Intermountain Region and beyond. Our goal is to develop the most competitive junior tennis players in the world and to help them play professionally or at the college level.

We hope that you can help us achieve these ends. Please tell everyone you know about the next great school in America, which may produce the next great American thinker or American tennis player.
